I’ll be the first to admit that I am OBSESSED with a mini bag. Any color, any shape, any size, any design, any price point (cough, cough, Gucci anyone?) – just give it to me and I’ll make magic with it! Can I also tell you how enamored I am with this black and white striped mini bag? I mean it’s literally featured in almost all of my insta photos because quite frankly it goes with every single outfit that I own, so why not put it to good use? It has just the right amount of uniqueness and versatility for it to be the perfect outfit-completer to any look. I discovered this amazing bag almost a year ago when I was randomly browsing the Zara website – but let’s be honest, it’s never a “random occurrence” when I browse zara.com, I do it at least 5 times a week. Okay, back to my outfit. I normally don’t like to wear a ton of color, hence why I love a mini bag to spice up my more simple outfits because I’m a typical denim, tee, and statement bag type of girl!

I wore this look to work last Friday because #JEANDAY, and in usual Bree fashion, I obviously had to do an outfit repeat for today’s post. I am a firm believer in repeating outfits no matter how many items of clothing you have. This is coming from the girl who has two large bins of shoes, four boxes of clothes, and 5 oversized garment bags in her garage for items that I don't wear often but can't bear to get rid of. If you feel comfortable, beautiful, and confident in something – wear that outfit to death and don’t be ashamed, girl! Especially if you pay a lot for what you’re wearing – in my case I most certainly did not and only spent $24.99 on my sweater.

I have been experimenting with color lately and throw it into my wardrobe every now and then. I figured this top would be okay because it’s mostly gray, right? This sweater is super comfortable and of course I got it at T.J. Maxx – I swear I’m not trying to be overkill with my T.J. Maxx pieces but they’re just too good not to share! I paired my sweater with a simple pair of dark wash skinnies that are stretchy and really cater to curves. Lastly I slung on some simple nude pumps (I wear these often too lol). These Sam Edelman pumps are the most comfortable closed-toe pointy pumps I have ever worn in my life – and I’ve worn a lot of pumps let me tell you. They come in a plethora of colors and graphic prints so you have a ton of options to choose from. I will be buying more in due time so y’all don’t have to see me wear these things everyday to work on my insta story OOTD posts! I loved mixing genres of stripes with this look because I felt super bold and had fun with it!
